A Payroll Manager is currently being recruited on a permanent basis – this role reports in senior management within the finance team & will require candidates to manage a small team.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for a large weekly payroll from start to finish, ensuring that all statutory deductions are accurate and on time – all HMRC submissions are made correctly & any payroll queries resolved. The Payroll Manager will also be responsible for managing a small team on a daily basis – managing and developing the team, setting out training plans, carrying out one to ones & appraisals.
As Payroll Manager, you will make departmental improvements, ensure payroll software is updated and current, recruitment of new hires and producing payroll related reports for the wider business.
In order to be considered for this role – candidates must have experience of running a complex and busy payroll.
