This is a unique opportunity to join a continuously expanding and growing procurement consultancy that specialise within the education sector to manage Estates, Property, FM and General Services spend.
The main focus of this role is to advise current educational procurement teams in improving their policies, strategies and ideally to reduce costs. Collaborate and work alongside existing procurement teams within the educational organisations being a specialist in your vertical category, using various tools and process to identify new supplier opportunities.
Role and responsibilities:
* End-to-end procurement, from sourcing to contract drafting / execution and ongoing SRM
* Manage and influence internal stakeholders across the business
* Negotiate on existing and new contracts to ensure best cost / service efficiency to the business
* Support the Procurement Managers and Head of Procurement in projects as well as leading projects solely
* Advise the company on alternative options of suppliers and services
* Analyse current spend and advise on areas of cost savings
* Manage suppliers to ensure there is a professional and effective client relationship
Experience and requirements:
* Must have strategic procurement experience across Estates, Property, FM and General Services spend.
* OJEU preferable or Private Sector
* A number of achievements either from cost savings or improved supply
* Able to work in a fast paced, but greenfield environment
* Managed the entire procurement process
* Multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience
* Confident negotiator with all levels of internal and external stakeholder
* MCIPS or degree educated preferable, but not essential
