The portfolio group are currently working on behalf of our client, a professional services company business based in Central London who are looking for a well-seasoned Business Development Representative to join their team.

As the business development representative you will:

1 Provide engaging and articulate information about the businesses value proposition to potential clients via a variety of digital and in-person methods
2 Maintain well-organised, up-to-date, and accurate sales information and activity reports in the CRM system
3 Efficient management of the sales pipeline
4 Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals, and the presentation of service offerings, via webinars or face-to-face meetings
5 Represent the business at corporate events or sales meetings independently or with colleagues
6 Meet personal targets and work towards business sales goals and profitability
7 Be responsible for upselling our existing clients additional services and ensuring renewal of our current clients

Competencies

* Conscientious, hard-working, and driven to improve sales activity performance
* Good organisational and time management skills with the flexibility to reprioritise as necessary
* Fluent in spoken and written English

Knowledge and Skills

* 1-2 years’ proven experience in prospecting and lead generation and experience in business services
* Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement and ability to successfully manage your own quota
* Experience of working collaboratively in a combined sales & marketing team
* Successful history of net new business sales and managing complex larger deals
* A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
* Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
