THE ROLE
The Credit Controller will be responsible for all elements of the accounts receivable function and report directly into the AR Manager. This role is predominately telephone based with the most effective form of cash collections coming from phone calls.
What will your day-to-day duties be?
* Collecting outstanding invoices by telephone and email in various countries
* Taking credit card payments via online portal
* Setting up direct debits and negotiating payment plans
* Chasing cancellation invoices and escalating to third party for collections where necessary
* Ensuring accounts are frozen if there are issues with client payment
* Arranging face to face meetings with clients to discuss outstanding debt and payment plans
* Maximise collections by achieving cash target (Quarterly Bonus Targets)
* Minimise aged debt, bad debt and DSO
* Processing monthly statements
* Performing other adhoc tasks as requested by line manager
What would make you successful in the position?
* A positive, resilient and personable character with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Someone who is Target driven (Bonus incentives on offer)
* The ability to communicate confidently over the phone with clients
* Are eager to learn and progress within a very faced paced business
* 3+ years credit control / accounts receivable experience
* Experience within the media space would be beneficial
* Strong Excel skills (Vlookups & Pivot tables preferred)
