Must have some experience of dealing with basic ER issues including AWOL, absence & sickness. Excellent telephone manner and enjoy working in a busy environment is essential
* Provide a ‘first response’ service to all enquiries made to the ER phone line
* Provide accurate and relevant advice for basic enquiries e.g. confirmation of attendance or rescheduling of hearings, grievance process, sickness and absence procedures, payroll & holiday queries (direct to payroll)
* Escalate calls to the relevant ER Specialist for example misconduct or performance issues
* Support the ER Specialists with administration including Letters of Concern and hearing invites, ensuring the ER tracker is accurately updated.
* Supporting the ER Specialists in the preparation of case documentation. Update the HR information system and Microsoft Office programs with case updates, ensuring that information is input correctly and delivered in a consistent and timely basis, in line with department SLAs.
