The role of French Payroll Specialist will be working as part of the Global Payroll team and reporting to the EMEA Payroll Manager. The main purpose of the role is to process the in-house French payroll end to end whilst managing the outsourced payroll for Belgium, Italy and Switzerland.
Complete all aspects of post payroll activities including preparing journal entries for submission to Finance reporting to support account reconciliation and tax filing), processing and distribution duties and will provide assistance to both internal and external customers when necessary.
*Ensure the timely and accurate processing of the French payroll in accordance with the relevant deadlines.
*Have solid knowledge of French Labor Law and be able to question payroll calculations, comfortable in using collective agreements and legal tools in pay calculation
*Perform the above payroll activities for other countries in the EMEA region.
*Resolve payroll related queries from both employees and other functions.
*Maintain documented payroll procedures.
*The ability to develop, maintain and communicate current accurate payroll records, procedures, and policies
*Management reporting, including monthly results, quarterly and year-end reports (i.e. gross payroll, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)
Knowledge & Experience
*1-3 years of experience in French payroll
*Certified Payroll Professional designation desirable
*Knowledge and experience of ADP, SAP, Workday
