We are excited to be recruiting an IT & Tech Category Specialist to join a top city based professional services firm to manage and deliver all procurement projects as well as supporting with implementing all global category strategic plans. The role which will be part home and office based will require the incumbent to have come from or have previous experience within the IT/Tech Category.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Building strong rapport with stakeholders and suppliers during the procurement and service delivery stage
* Manage all procurement activity which include 3rd party spend within the specific category
* Taking full ownership of all projects as required
* Conduct supplier negotiations for contract and supplier agreements
* Maintain supplier performance reviews

Experience required:

* Previous experience within indirect procurement with ability to cover multiple sub categories
* Experience in managing end to end procurement and supplier management
* Excellent negotiations and contract tendering
* Excellent IT and numeracy skills
* CIPS qualification is desirable
