We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join a stable team based in the Birmingham area. This role would suit an experienced individual who may be looking to reduce their hours or a junior candidate who has a keen interest in payroll and pensions.
This role is remote currently with the long-term view of working from home flexibility.
The position will be responsible for assisting with end to end payroll processing for approx. 4500 employees, being first line of contact for queries and employee support. This role will also be involved in setting up pensions and administering these.
Other duties include dealing with all the statuary deductions, retirements, dealing with the HMRC, starters, leavers, and general payroll queries.
Working hours are 18 hours a week spread across 2 days. Hours can be flexible.
The successful candidate will have both payroll and pension experience (LGPS would be advantageous)
