An exciting opportunity has arisen in the payroll department within a well-known accountancy practice. My client is looking for an additional team member to join their busy practice in processing a large volume payroll for multiple clients. The successful candidate will have an adaptable “can do” attitude with a keen eye for detail. This company are offering a competitive salary and fantastic benefit package along with flexible working! * Processing own portfolio of client payroll on a multi frequency basis
* Dealing with enquiries from clients, their employees and HMRC.
* Complete and submit all PAYE & NIC documentation including forms P45, P46, P38s and P46car
* Calculations for employee & employer pension contributions


* Start to finish payroll processing for multiple clients
* Knowledge of the Star payroll system is desirable
* Up to date knowledge of all payroll legislation including SSP, SMP, Tax, NI, RTI auto enrolment
* Ability to work with accuracy within deadlines
* Ability to remain focused and self-motivate
* Ability to work proactively and use initiative

* Good communications skills, both orally and in writing
* Commitment to personal and professional development
