The client in this instance is looking for a permanent employee to join their team environment and broaden their hands on payroll experience with a range of sector clients. Providing a competent, effective and timely payroll function for the business on a weekly and month basis.
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of the various aspects of payroll processing to include SSP, SMP and auto enrolment; they will evidence that they have been proactive in keeping up to date with payroll legislation; they will be able to work on their own initiative without requiring regular supervision.
Calculating right amounts to pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances.
Inputting data related to weekly and monthly payments into a computer and create statistics. Deducting right amounts of pension contributions, income tax, National Insurance.
A candidate who is pro-active and organised and willing to support in other areas of the business
