Currently seeking a senior that can be the first port of call for the team to go to. Someone who is preferably experienced with bureau or multiple clients who is organised, resilient and fast paced with excellent payroll knowledge.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
* To process payroll data received from client/ internal HR department/ line managers relating to starters, leavers, pay reviews, pay adjustments, sickness, and change of hours, deputising, and payment of allowances and any other input.
* To answer telephone and e mail queries from employees and third parties promptly and effectively
* To answer queries from HR and line managers promptly and effectively.
* To manage own caseload, taking responsibility for maintaining workloads
* To meet tight deadlines regarding cut off dates
* To process any changes to payroll that may arise out of queries, e.g. overpayments and underpayments
* To check data for self and colleagues work, providing an audit trail of events
* To liaise closely with other parts of the business as appropriate
* Ensure that all targets for service delivery are met and where possible exceeded
* and any other duties as required
Person Specification/ Experience:
* Knowledge and understanding of PAYE legislations
* Knowledge/ experience of payroll calculations i.e. sickness, maternity, under payments, overpayments
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Knowledge of SAP payroll software (This is desirable but not essential)
* Knowledge of Offshore Payroll (This is desirable but not essential)
