Working with a fantastic, results orientated and growing client that is looking to make further developments with their payroll department. This is a pinnacle role to be able to take ownership of a varied client payroll as well as process improvements.

The client in this instance is looking for motivated individuals who want to be able to push themselves forward within an innovative payroll department. Demonstrate clear knowledge and understanding of sage or Iris payroll software as well as payroll legislation and statutory requirements with a high level of accuracy and detail.

The role will include

* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls on Sage Payroll
* Manual calculations to check our system or answer client queries
* Prioritising and planning the workload
* Meeting payday and filing deadlines
* Entering transactions onto computer software for a variety of our clients
* Checking clients’ own bookkeeping prior to VAT submission
* Preparing VAT Returns
* Liaising directly with clients when they come into the office and on the phone

This is a great analytical environment that would provide training and exposure to UK, as well as payroll implementations and process improvements.
