A leader in their industry this Stevenage based employer are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator on a fixed term contract basis for an initial 6 month period. This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

You will join a large payroll team of 8 responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of the companies multiple weekly and monthly UK payrolls totalling over 4000 employees from start to finish.

The role has arisen as the company are currently implementing a new payroll system. Due to the increased workload created they are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the team. Alongside the day to day payroll delivery this role will have the opportunity to get involved in the implementation project. Including testing, data cleansing and data analysis.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing high volume monthly payrolls from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
