Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis

Duties include:

* Working with the Finance Payroll Manager and with People Team input, prepare and process the organisation’s payrolls, including recording joiners, leavers and authorised changes to existing contracts and agreements
* Process timesheets from casual workers
* Ensure clear and accurate data preparation, review and submission under tight deadlines
* Work with payroll bureaux (2 in total) to ensure accurate payroll submissions and delivery
* Liaise with Finance Payroll Manager, Head of HR Operations and Finance team to ensure that payrolls are signed off to set deadlines with appropriate backing information
* Support the Finance Payroll Manager with processing of payroll, pension and staff data to journals o Administration support to determining supplier status in line with HMRC requirements
* Payroll related administration (cash advances, re-issuing and mailing payslips, P60s etc)
* Liaise with Procurement and Insurance team, providing Insurance and Travel declaration data to the annual cycle
* Keep Payroll Process Handbook current to ensure ease of continuity between team members working with the payroll process
* Carry out monthly checks for pension auto-enrolment and contractual pension changes
* Liaise with the HR Operations Manager and pension provider to ensure all data provision is timely and accurate for allocation to staff accounts
* As first line support to staff on payroll related queries, provide efficient, evidenced and customer-service focussed support in proactive and reactive situations
* Coordinate input from other People Team members if required by the content of the query
* Management reports and system data maintenance
* Ensure data is maintained and exchanged between payroll and HRIS systems to maintain complete and accurate data between both systems, including a quarterly audit
* Work with the HR Administrator to ensure cyclical system updates are accurately completed
