Our client a growing payroll bureau in the centre of Manchester are looking to further strengthen their payroll team by recruiting for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer or Payroll administrator. Based in the heart of the City this is a fantastic nationally recognised company with a really forward thinking approach to providing accountancy services and Payroll services to their clients.

Our client is looking for some payroll experience or exposure within a payroll team and will support the successful candidate through studies. This is a hybrid role once your training as a payroll officer, Payroll administrator is complete. As a payroll officer you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely payroll for a portfolio of clients.


* Processing client payrolls for a portfolio of bureau clients
* Providing comprehensive advice to clients
* Liaising with 3rd party pension providers and HMRC
* Performing manual calculations, processing standard deductions
* Supporting the payroll manager in the production of accurate and timely payrolls
* Year end processes
* HMRC submissions

The person:

* Experienced Payroll Officer or Payroll Administrator
* Excellent customer service skills
* Payroll experience or have worked within a payroll team
* Passionate about providing a first class service and developing a career in payroll
