Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join their team

Duties include:

* Assisting in the process the monthly payroll reporting to the Payroll Manager
* Responsible for processing all leaver payments, maternity pay and attachment of Earnings Orders
* Processing promotions, transfers, overtime, change of hours
* Provide Maternity leave/pay advice, administer all maternity leave, process SMP and SPP payments
* Maintaining the relevant databases and spreadsheets
* Support the People Services Manager in answering enquiries
* Maintain employee records in the HR/Payroll database
* Ensure all pay queries or enquires are responded to
* Assist the People Services Manager to administer the monthly payroll
* Ensure the payroll is completed to deadlines every month, ensure accuracy and attention to detail

You will have the following:

* Previous Payroll experience ideally within a multi-sited organisation
* Experience of working within a Payroll/HR Department
* Strong Excel skills
* Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, HR/Payroll systems
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Excellent communication skills with all levels of employees, both verbal and written
* Excellent attention to detail
* Friendly and efficient telephone manner
* Helpful and approachable nature
