Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their team

Duties include;

* Working in a team to process high volume payrolls on a monthly basis

* Processing Starters, leavers, salary increases, overtime, bonuses, pension adjustments, holiday pay and any other ad hoc payments
* Assist with maintaining payroll records for all employees and any other ad hoc payments
* Processing payments for SMP, SSP
* Ensure that the appropriate deductions are made in respect of season ticket loans & personal loans a monthly basis
* Ensure all changes are correctly authorised and implemented
* Maintain overtime records for all eligible staff and ensure overtime is correctly authorised for payment, paid accordingly and updated on the system
* Make amendments to pensions following any salary amendment from HR or pension instructions
* Assist with pension reconciliations and month end payments
* Assist in the monthly payroll reconciliations ensuring all changes are correctly authorised and implemented
* Assist in producing monthly payroll reports, sending payslips and producing monthly reports
