The client in this instance is looking for a permanent employee to join their large and friendly team environment and broaden their hands-on payroll experience with their broad and complex payroll. Providing a competent, effective and timely payroll function for the business on a weekly and monthly basis.
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of the various aspects of payroll processing including SSP, SMP and auto-enrolment; they will evidence that they have been proactive in keeping up to date with payroll legislation; they will be able to work on their own initiative without requiring regular supervision.
Calculating the right amounts to pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and allowances.
Inputting data related to weekly and monthly payments into a computer and creating statistics. Deducting the right amounts of pension contributions, income tax, and National Insurance.
