Job Summary

We are currently working with our client based in Bolton to recruit for an experienced Payroll & Benefits officer – this is an inhouse payroll and whilst it is an end to end position at the moment the company are in the process of restructuring the Payroll department. This is a hybrid role, working from home and office. This is a standalone position, working on outsourced payroll, T&A System and supporting with the benefits piece.

Key Duties/Tasks:

* Processing payrolls on varying cycles
* Full end to end processing of payrolls and processing payments outside of payrolls
* Calculation and application of standard deductions
* Providing a 1st class service to colleagues, processing the full end to end payrolls
* Liaising with the 3rd party Vendors
* Dealing with payroll queries via telephone and email

Desirable skills and attributes:

* Previous end to end payroll experience
* Gross to net payroll processing experience
* Customer service driven
* Confident with Excel
