We are currently working with a leading organisation in the Insurance sector who are seeking an experienced payroller to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed basis.
The position will sit within a payroll team reporting into the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for providing an accurate and customer focused payroll service and adhering to strict deadlines from start to finish, with everything that happens in between the starter and the leaver.
Other duties include calculating manual pay, tax, NIC, as well as recording, monitoring and calculating sickness payments to staff including occupational sick pay, SSP and phased returns to work
This role will be responsible for investigating and resolving all payroll related queries, as well as being proactive in contacting other areas of the business to improve service levels, remedy persistent reoccurring issues or problems and to eliminate payroll errors.
Working hours are 9am-5pm. This role will be temporarily remote with some flexibility long term.
The successful candidate will strong end to end payroll processing experience, and will have excellent communication and organisation skills.
