Our client are seeking an experienced Payroll Co-ordinator to join our busy professional team.
Reporting to the Head of Personnel the key responsibilities of this challenging role will be to provide full Payroll co-ordination and support across the businesses.
The role is a “one-stop shop” for payroll.
Key Responsibilities and Duties include:
* To maintain payroll files for all employees
* To input all overtime, bonuses, sickness payments/stoppages, gratuities, loans, advances, pension contributions, and attachment of earnings etc SSP, SMP, SPP, Maternity and Paternity deductions.
* To provide advice and guidance on payroll related matters to managers and employees, providing a professional telephone response and ensuring that a customer focused service is delivered at all times.
* Good working knowledge of all areas of Payroll.
* Payroll qualification advantageous
* Confident in Excel
* Able to carry out manual calculation;
* Ability to communicate complex payroll information clearly to staff and managers with little or no payroll experience.
Good understanding of Pensions and auto enrolment processing.
