We are partnered with a well established organisation who are currently recruiting for an exciting and progressive opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join their busy payroll function. This is a great opportunity to join a varied and busy role in a supportive and collaborative environment!

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

* Working closely with the Head of Payroll to support the payroll administrators
* Hands on with high volume, end to end payroll including commission payments
* Calculating SPP, SMP, SPP, processing new starters, leavers
* RTI submissions, monthly reconciliations
* Leading and developing the team, appraisals
* Stakeholder management
* Assisting with various payroll projects & implementing change

Experience required:

* Strong people management experience
* Confident with manual payroll/use of spreadsheets & Excel
* Experience within the retail sector would be highly desirable
* Project/payroll systems implementation experience is highly desirable
