Our client is a global retail organisation who are currently recruiting for an experienced Global Payroll Manager to oversee their German and Swiss payroll functions.

As Payroll Manager, you will report into the Payroll Director and oversee a team of 2 payrollers (based in the local countries).

Key responsibilities of the role include-

* Day to day management of the payroll team
* Training, development, 1:1s and appraisals
* Oversee the processing of payroll for Germany (also including Austria & Poland) and Switzerland (also including Czech Republic)
* Liaising with the third party payroll providers
* Dealing with complex payroll queries

Experienced required –

* Extensive global payroll exposure with a particular focus on German and Swiss regions
* People management experience
* Previous experience of working with outsourced providers
* Retail industry specific experience is desirable
* German or French language skills are desirable

This role can be based at either the Watford or London offices with flexibility to work remotely for 3 days of the week.

Some travel will be required to Germany & Switzerland.
