As an Payroll Officer you will assume responsibility for becoming an expert in, and being the driving force behind, their payroll administration. In addition, you will take responsibility for supporting activities related to the issuing and collection of employee documentation, provide support for general administration activities, assist in the administration of the payroll plans, update and maintain records, provide support for internal audits, and have the chance to participate in a variety of other payroll projects.
Accurate and timely maintenance of the payroll database including starters, leavers and amendments ensuring each payroll run is in line with the timetable and correct
Ensuring that all paperwork and the monthly payroll spreadsheet is completed by the cut-off date each month and sent over to the outsourcing payroll company for processing
Managing overtime, holiday and sickness records for payroll processing
Ensuring all eligible employees are enrolled onto the company pension scheme.
Close liaison with the outsourced payroll providers (UK & Ireland)
Provide support and solve staff payroll queries
Liaison with Finance department and auditors with payroll related issues
Assisting with preparation of annual P11d reporting
