Our client, a well known business in the area are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Specialist on a contract basis for a period of 6 months. This role can be 100% remote based or in based in the clients Hertfordshire office.

Covering the existing Payroll Specialist while they are seconded onto a project you will be responsible for the delivery of the companies payroll. Supported by the human resources team you will manage a payroll of 700 employees split across multiple payrolls. The payroll is managed in house using KCS Snowdrop payroll software. In order to be considered for the role previous experience using KCS Snowdrop is essential.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate considerable previous experience processing a busy payroll from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
