Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a brilliant Organisation specialising in Umbrella Payroll in the Warrington area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join their team.
Key Duties/Tasks:
* To provide comprehensive advice to customers and directors in relation to payroll queries
* Support the processing and running of the end to end weekly payroll
* Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
* Ensuring current payroll legislation knowledge is up to date and in line with HMRC, with procedures updated accordingly.
The role:
* Chasing up timesheets
* Responsible for all aspects from start to finish
* Handling IR35 Queries
* Attachment of earnings
* Expenses
* Processing taxable benefits
* Calculating primary threshold allowances
* Must have worked in a fast paced environment
* Would suit someone from recruitment or Umbrella background
* Great customer service as dealing with queries
* Strong character and enthusiastic personality
