Associate Director - Legal Greater Manchester

We are working with a fantastic client in the heart of Manchester to recruit and experienced Legal professional to joining their inhouse legal services team. This is operating at director level and will provide comprehensive legal support across a wide range of matters. This is an opportunity to work in an international business, with a company that are leaders in their field.We are looking for professionally qualified candidates with experience across the full commercial sphere of law. Key Duties/Tasks: * Working in partnership with relevant business units to provide commercially sound legal advice. * Providing key support to the GC on any Corporate Governance matters including mandatory filings, preparation of board meetings and attendance at internal compliance meetings when required. * Providing corporate law advice * Responsible for the drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of contractual agreements * Providing commercial legal advice to across the UK business with the assistance of external counsel where necessary and relevant. * Managing legal risk in a manner that supports commercial success. Desirable skills and attributes: * Preferred post-qualification experience of roughly 5-7 years although candidates outside of this bracket will be considered * Some Competition, IP and GDPR experience would be an advantage, or the ability to identify issues in these areas. * Law experience within the UK including a strong technical contract law knowledge with experience of negotiating commercial contracts * Experience of working within an in-house legal function with proven a proven commercial legal background 46856GOINDMANS

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Pensions Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis.You will join a large team and assist the pensions team in the provision of information and statistics as required and to provide information to employees on potential pension benefits and scheme provisions. You will need to have experience within NHS, USS & SAUL Pensions to be put forward for this role.You will be responsible for the submission of uploading data online to the USS and SAUL pension schemes regarding starters, leavers and other changes. This involves running reports on the HR/Payroll system (CoreHR) and uploading and downloading files electronically to and from the pension schemes' online databases. These processes must meet strict monthly deadlines and must be co-ordinated with colleagues so that they can meet their deadlines.
