We are currently recruiting for a well known Retail company who are looking to hire someone on a contract basis to start a role working as a Payroll Administrator. The right candidate must be able to start right away. Please see some further information on the role below, if this looks of interest please apply and one of our consultants will reach out to you. * Accurate and timely administration of weekly CIS and monthly PAYE payrolls * Respond to queries from staff and our external payroll provider about pay and reward * Ensure that an accurate record of all payroll changes are recorded on our HR database and that variation letters are issued to staff as a result of these changes * Collate additional payroll information, such as overtime and other one-off charges or payments * Liaising with managers to ensure additional information is received in good time and changes to pay are authorised at the appropriate level before submission to our external payroll provider * Provide an up to date report on payroll changes to our external payroll providers each month * Processing of employee-related expenses * Responding to queries in respect of individual payments made/to be made * Filing, scanning and general admin HR: * Responsible for issuing initial conditional job offers, subsequent contracts, as well as letters to staff detailing changes * Maintain accurate and up to date HR records * Provide direction, advice and assistance to managers and other staff in line with employment law and Company policy and procedure when dealing with general HR queries in line with the remit of the role * Co-ordinating the administration around leavers arrangements, issuing acknowledgement letters and updating staff records * Running regular reports, highlighting any required action to management * Collating HR metrics and analysing HR data * Support in the delivery of ongoing and ad hoc projects Experience/Skills/Qualifications * Experience with high volume data entry and analysis * 2+ years of experience in HR, payroll & benefits. Understanding of HR & payroll best practice and current regulations * Strong level of PAYE payroll knowledge is essential * Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times * Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines * Construction industry/IR35 is desirable * CIPP/CIPD qualified or working towards is preferred, demonstrable experience strongly considered 138780THR1INDPAYS

Our client has a global footprint and continued plans for expansion to further strengthen their Legal offering. We are looking for people with a passion for employment law and a commercial focus. As Principle Solicitor you will be working with our clients to support across a range of complex Employment Law cases. Day-to-Day Responsibilities * Monitoring and supervising the work of Trainee Solicitors within the context of Employment Tribunal cases and Early Conciliation matters. * Undertaking regular quality checks and assessments on ET3 Responses, preliminary hearings, agendas, bundles, witness statements and other general written work including correspondence and applications on a monthly basis as a minimum. * Reviewing Tribunal Claims and drafting ET3 Responses. * Dealing with all aspects of document disclosure and the preparation of trial bundles or documents in the appropriate or agreed format for any hearing. * Providing detailed merits and risk assessment to clients on all Employment Tribunal claims. * Conduct any conciliation or settlement negotiations on behalf of the client, in accordance with the client's instructions (which are at all times to be in writing or documented in writing where instructions are given verbally). * To regularly review the insurance position and update the most likely outcome following receipt of full client instructions and liaising with the Senior Management Team and Insurance team to report on any cases, in particular indemnified cases, where there are concerns about the prospects of success. * Corresponding with Tribunals, claimants' representatives and clients. * Obtain all relevant and necessary documentation and to draft appropriate applications or responses on behalf of clients for their approval. * Conduct preliminary advocacy in the Employment Tribunal by telephone, digitally or occasionally in person. * Identify witnesses and assist in the preparation, drafting and finalising of witness statements. * Provide support to the Litigation Team Leaders with the investigation of service issues and feedback for appraisals. * Demonstrate commercial knowledge of the Company's range of services and products and to be able to discuss these with clients as appropriate, and to proactively assist in the retention of existing clients and to promoting new business opportunities by obtaining introductions for potential new clients. * Ensuring that the requisite knowledge of employment law and technical skill is of the standard required in order to be able to carry out the work to the standards as outlined in this job description Person Specification * Ideally a qualified solicitor, must have employment law experience. * Excellent communication, oral and negotiation skills. * A "can-do" attitude, a thirst for knowledge and the ability to communicate knowledge effectively within the team. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong time management skills. * A dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure. 46382GOINDMANS
