My client based in Herne Hill are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll & Pensions Officer on a temporary to permanent basis.
They are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to help deliver short, medium and long-term ambitions. In the short term this individual will be working with Civica to migrate the existing payroll system (Payrite) to a new HR & Payroll system. In the medium term this role will move to one that supports the outsourcing of the payroll function setting up rigorous processes and systems to ensure a smooth transition. And finally, in the longer term this role will become an integral member of the organisation providing support and assistance to all staff with regard to pay and pension matters.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing high volume monthly payrolls from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayments, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
