The Portfolio Group, is proud to be nominated for the prestigious Recruitment Agency of the Year 2021 award, awarded by Recruiter Magazine.

Danny Done, Managing Director at The Portfolio Group, said: “This nomination is for each & every Portfolio Group employee, candidate & client – I couldn’t be prouder. All of our achievements are under-pinned by the commitment of our Consultants who have stepped up in tough times and persevered no matter what – putting our business front and centre.”

The specialist recruitment agency has offices in London & Manchester. Over the past 18-months it has gone from strength to strength, ranking in the Recruiter Hot 100, reaching #1 on Trustpilot and eclipsing multiple previous company fee records – a trend that has continued into 2021/22.

The company attributes its success to the ability to adapt processes quickly and remain fully operational throughout the pandemic. So far this year, The Portfolio Group has doubled fees in the first 5 months of the financial year compared to the previous year-showing how buoyant the market is.

In July, they beat their company fee record for the 2nd time this financial year and 3rd this calendar year. To mark the occasion, four key employees were given promotions.

Director Anthony Macey says, “We knew, as the market-leading recruiter, we would need to keep pretty much a full team to ensure that we would not let down loyal clients during their time of need.  We gave businesses a lifeline and kept them staffed and supported by providing qualified, high calibre professionals often at short notice”.

Director Charlotte Turner reflects: “Even though the economy is re-opening, there is still hesitancy to fully open workplaces and many businesses now offer some form of flexible working.  With this in mind, we will keep delivering quality talent to our clients by embedding & promoting elements of our COVID-safe recruitment practises; through remote working and on-boarding, as part of our service offering”
