KEEPING THE UK PAID
Portfolio Payroll are proud to celebrate 20-years of being the headline sponsor of the CIPP’s National Payroll Week in 2021!
Taking place 6-10th September, National Payroll Week was established in the UK by the CIPP in 1998 to celebrate the payroll profession and to give it the recognition it deserves. The week is designed to demonstrate the impact the payroll industry has in the UK through the collection of income tax and National Insurance; especially when you consider the £249 billion* paid to the government through income tax and national insurance contributions.
“In 2021, Portfolio Payroll are honoured to be celebrating 20-years as headline sponsor of National Payroll Week! This year, we will continue to dedicate National Payroll Week to all the “Payroll Heroes” via our latest campaign aimed at recognising individuals & teams for their heroic commitment and we continue to support efforts that aim to raise the profile of the Payroll industry.* After a prolonged challenging period, we are looking forward to experiencing a hybrid of much-needed face-to-face festivities and wider-reaching virtual celebrations taking place up and down the country!
*This year, our digital pack includes a Template Letter to send to your local MP asking for support in recognising how important Payroll professionals are!
We are also thrilled to have once again received a letter of endorsement from Solihull’s very own MP Julian Knight who stated: “Payroll professionals are vital to our nation and it was through their efforts there was an outstanding contribution of approximately £249 billion to the UK economy”.
