Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis

Duties include;

* Processing high volume payrolls in a team
* Good payroll knowledge required
* Manual calculations
* Processing SMP, SSP
* Good excel skills – ideally vlookups and pivot tables
* Very hands on payroll and need someone who is going to keep it running smoothly
* Dealing with queries – need good payroll knowledge
* Journals, monthly reporting
* For leavers ensure that any outstanding loans, any outstanding training contracts or overpayments are deducted from final salary and issue P45s
* Dealing with escalated queries from the team
* Calculating SMP, SSP, TAX & NI
* On a daily basis receive and input payroll data in accordance with procedure
* Process statutory deductions, process TAX and NI etc
* First port of call for teams queries and who is able to work to multiple deadlines in a high volume, fast paced payroll department
