A recognisable client based in South Manchester are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator on an contact basis for a 6-9 month period. This is a hybrid position working 1-2 days per week in the office and 3-4 days remotely. Therefore, you must be happy to commute to the office near Macclesfield where required.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will join a payroll team of 2 responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of the companies multiple monthly UK payrolls totalling over 400 employees from start to finish. As the Payroll Administrator you will provide administrative support to the payroll manager. Duties include; employee query management and resolution, payroll data input, manging the starter and leaver process, issuing contracts of employment and general administration.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience working within a busy payroll department. Expert knowledge is not essential but you should have a basic understanding of UK PAYE legislation. Including tax, national insurance and statutory deductions such and sick pay and maternity pay.
