Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their Finance Team on a temporary basis

Duties include;

* Co-ordinating monthly and fortnightly payrolls
* Processing weekly timesheets
* Entering the information and sending to the provider
* Checking information is correct
* Dealing with queries
* Reporting to finance
* Monthly reporting
* Calculating SMP, SSP, TAX & NI
* On a daily basis receive and input payroll data in accordance with procedure
* Process statutory deductions, process TAX and NI etc
* First port of call for teams queries and who is able to work to multiple deadlines in a high volume, fast paced payroll department
* Good Excel skills are required — vlookups and pivot tables ideally
* The candidate needs to be well organised, working both as part of the team and on their own taking responsibility for the payroll
