Working with an established and growing client with their site in a accessible part of Reading they are in need of an experienced payroll specialist.

* Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll runs under the supervision of the Payroll Manager.
* Processing client payrolls
* Collating information from clients in various forms, i.e. telephone, e-mail
* Using Payroll SAGE software
* Processing quarterly payroll bills
* On-line client banking
* Administering pension auto-enrolment
* Handling issues and enquiries in the unavailability of Payroll Manager
* Communicating with colleagues and supporting apprentices.
* Implementing new processes to ensure data is properly extracted from the system.
* Processing, reconciling and managing a portfolio of monthly payrolls.
* Liaising with HMRC regarding PAYE queries.
* Processing RTI submissions ensuring accuracy and on time.
* Processing Auto Enrolment through Payroll Software.
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior management.
* Working on advanced spreadsheets – VLOOKUP’s, PIVOT tables, SUMIFS and spreadsheets linking.
* Responding to employee queries within reasonable timescales.
* Keeping accurate payroll records.
* Previous experience of Sage 50 & Payroll processing at high employee volumes
