Two brand new roles working for a truly global, high profile law firm to manage a range of indirect spend supporting the business and wider team. One role will be focusing on HR category and the other on FM spend areas, supporting the Global Category team.
Reporting into your line manager in the business you will support them on strategically managing your category. Over the past 12-18 months the procurement team has grown, with global remit and are now getting ahead of the curve to implement strategic, category management to create not just financial savings but also longer term benefits for the business.
Role and responsibilities:
* Working in a global team, working in a fast paced and strategic environment
* End-to-end procurement management, sourcing to on-going SRM
* Influence stakeholders who might not have worked with the procurement to sell the benefits
* Look after contract renewals, renegotiating when needed / improving SLAs
* Manage multi-million spends across assigned sub-categories
* Identify new potential suppliers and cost saving opportunities by using market knowledge
Experience and requirements:
* Procurement experience in either HR or FM categories
* Worked within a large, multi-site organisation
* Adapt, where stakeholder approach might need to tailored
* No issues with negotiating and influencing all levels of internal customer / stakeholder
* Experience in building relationships in varied environment
* Ideally CIPS and degree qualified – not essential
