THIS ROLE PAYS UP TO £40,000 AND IS ON SITE 5 DAYS A WEEKDAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES * Test applications to the highest level on web and mobile devices * Maintain and improve testing practise * Establishing a clearly defined testing scope * Able to investigate production issues, to its root cause. * Assure that acceptance criteria are met, or descoped with acceptable results. * Assure that releases are of high quality and act as approval to deploy. * Collaborate with the product team members to identify and describe defects. * Ensure that test packs, tooling and methods are updated and maintained. * Support the BA in the elaboration of requirements with the developers. * Take responsibility for non-functional testing. * Write acceptance criteria for features that are executable. * You can measure the coverage of your functional and non-functional testing. * Able to deliver proposed plans with confidence * To be pro-active in suggesting improvements to the system, or new tools or ways of working * Work closely with the team, including stakeholders to recommend and agree technological solutions to meet business requirements * Management of personal training requirements * Provide provision of estimates that are at an appropriate level of fidelity for the phase in the development lifecycle.
